Stretch!

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, bone and muscle in place. The way to prevent and treat problems that can cause pain, stiffness and limited mobility is by stretching. Stretching not only helps with muscle pain, it also reverses the effects of gravity. As we age we can develp the "q" angle, which can be described as weak glutes, hunched shoulders and "Bambi" knocking knees. To reverse this we need to build mucle AND stretch. Stretching the tendons and ligaments between the vertebrae is a must. Every stretch needs to be held for 10 -30 seconds (without bouncing). Please watch the following video for stretching tips!
